The actor started off a little coy and said: "It all depends. Obviously I’m very busy with the Superman stuff but if there were any windows and they wanted me to do that kind of role, then it would be great — I’d love to do it. It depends on what everyone here thinks."

With that he raised his arm to the crowd to invite their response — which came in the form of a huge cheer and round of applause.

It's break time on the sets of Jacqueline Fernandez's upcoming comic caper, Housefull 3, at Filmistan Studios. Fernandez steps out in a short hot pink number that celebrates her long legs.

Seeing the Easter goodies laid out, she exclaims, "Hallelujah... it's Easter already?"*The actress says she goes store hopping to check out the detailed decorations, especially on baskets. Pic/ Ajinkya Sawant *

The actress has been filming for two other films — Dishoom and A Flying Jatt  – and the schedule has been hectic for the Lankan beauty. During Christmas, she made her co-stars play Secret Santa on the sets of Housefull 3. Now, it is time for coloured eggs, marzipan goodies and little chicks and bunnies laid out in pretty baskets.*Jacqueline with her mother Kim*

*Family time*
Sweets are a definite no for the actress, but she does not mind cheating on her diet for a festival. "After Christmas, Easter is celebrated in a big way across the globe and it is no different in Lanka, apart from the fact that some coconut goodies are thrown in. It is a time when the family gets together."*Hot cross buns*

She can't visit home due to professional commitments, so her mother, Kim, has flown down to be with her. "After attending church, my mom and I will check out the goodies available at local cake shops. More than tucking in, checking out what is available is fun. I simply adore the way the baskets laden with Easter goodies are decorated. And more than the marzipans, I dig the baskets with the yellow chicks on them."

*Time to reflect*
"Easter is a  time to reflect and introspect. It is about beginning anew. It spells the renewal of the mind. And it also means a lot of goodies."

Reminiscing about her younger days, she says, "Easter and Good Friday meant a lot of baking at home. I still remember the taste and aroma of the fresh hot cross buns my mom would make for us kids. These spiced sweet buns made with currants and raisins are marked with a cross on the top. The aroma would waft through the house. Hot cross buns are traditionally eaten on Good Friday, the cross represents the crucifixion of Jesus."

She adds, "I also recollect that every year, when I was growing up, we kids would spend a few hours just before Easter colouring and decorating Easter eggs. We always had a lot of fun doing it. We would paint the boiled egg or make a neat hole and pour out the egg without cracking the shell. The smart kid would make a neat hole that would not crack the entire shell. Then we would wash the egg and colour it. Eggs are a symbol of new life and speak of the resurrection."

Before we meet Fan director Maneesh Sharma, we are told he doesn't answer 'tabloid-type' questions. He is busy editing his next release, the big-budget Fan with Shah Rukh Khan in a double role, set to release on April 15. Fan is his fourth film, after the 2010 hit Band Baaja Baraat, Ladies VS Ricky Behl (2011) and Shuddh Desi Romance (2013). But, as the Delhi boy tells us through the interview, he always meant this to be his first.

"I told Adi (Aditya Chopra) about a movie I wanted to make, exploring the dynamics between a fan and a superstar. It hasn't been attempted in Indian movies before, and though it's not a personal story, it fascinated me. It's relevant too, isn't it? The gap between the fan and the star is widely reduced thanks to social media. But all Adi said was this can't be your first movie," says the 35-year-old, as we chat over coffee at Yash Raj Film's Andheri office. Chopra 'hmmd and hawed', asking Sharma to work on Aaja Nachle (2007) as assistant editor, instead. The next time, he asked him to work on Jab Tak Hain Jaan. After that finished, Sharma was once again twiddling his thumbs, his eyes framed on the Fan idea, when Chopra called him to the office.*Shah Rukh Khan in make-up by Hollywood artiste Greg Cannom*

"He asked me what's up. Once again, I said I am working on Fan. He said 'yes, yes, great idea, but very tough. I told you, it can't be your first movie. Why don't you think of another idea?'" Sharma was dejected, and out of that rejection, emerged Band Baaja Baraat. "Who knew it would work so well? All I wanted to do was Fan, and just because I needed to think of another idea, I thought of that! But my heart was still stuck on Fan."*Maneesh Sharma*

Sharma was equally sure that he wanted SRK playing both, of crazed fan, Gaurav, and the superstar Aryan Khanna. "During Jab Tak…, there was a silent agreement that Shah Rukh would do Fan. Who else do you see with that kind of aura?" We agree, and then ask, is Aryan Khanna a version of SRK?

"In his journey, sure. He comes from a middle-class family in Delhi and becomes a superstar. But, other than that, he is a fictional character." Sharma is, like most before him, in awe of Khan. "He was the most experienced person on set but behaved like the youngest. It was always like, 'did I do this right? Should I do this again?' He was always learning," says Sharma. He is more excited about SRK playing Guarav, the fan, who also resembles his idol, Aryan Khanna. It could be because having two SRKs could just work better for the film.

YRF roped in Hollywood make-up guru Greg Cannom, who worked on Brad Pitt-starrer, The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, to work on Khan's look, making him appear 20 years younger. "On my way here, I was talking to the peon, who told me that one of his relatives asked him, did they shoot this movie at the time of Karan Arjun, and using the footage now. I didn't know someone could even think like that!"

We then ask him the most obvious question: how his "a fan becomes the greatest enemy" movie is different from the obsessive fan Hollywood movies. Does anybody die? He laughs, "You want me to tell you the plot? I can't. It's been tackled so that this-is-what-could-happen tale becomes a thriller. So, we all think we are close to the star, right? But what happens when you realise that's not the truth."

Point out his affinity for north Indian characters and he laughs, "In the next movie, it won't happen. I am from Delhi, so I took inspiration from where I grew up." We start talking about the Delhi and Mumbai divide and he laughs, "Aisa hota tha. Ab, I think, bas ek joke hai. It's all fun and games, and these days, every other person you meet in the industry is from Delhi!"

Kutcher got candid about his social media habits during a new interview with a magazine, attributing his daughter and a need to inspire people rather than beat out media outlets and tabloid rumours as reasons behind his decision.

He explained, "Now the things that I share on social media are stories that inspire ideas, connect and educate people."

The star went on to admit that becoming a father has changed his life in ways that he never thought possible, pushing him to prioritise.

"Having a child takes whatever table you’re sitting at, flips it upside down and switches all your priorities around," he said.

'Rustom' is helmed by Tinu Suresh Desai and also features Arjan Bajwa and Esha Gupta. The film is scheduled for a worldwide release on 12 August.

"'Happy Ending' is not the end of my career, so don't worry. I am coming back. In August my film 'Rustom' is coming up with Akshay Kumar. So fingers crossed," Ileana said at an event in Mumbai.

"'Rustom' is an intense film. I am too excited," the 27-year-old actress added.

At the event, the actress had donned casual attire. She expressed that she is not at all brand conscious and loves to wear comfortable clothes.

"I love being simple and minimalistic. More than an outfit, I like to accessorise myself with one big piece of jewellery. Quality of the outfit is my first preference. It doesn't matter whether it is branded or not," Ileana said.

Asked about the most stylish male actor in Bollywood in her opinion, Ileana took a long pause and said: "I like men with old fashion and I think Farhan Akhtar dresses very well."

As far as as actresses are concerned, Ileana picked Sonam Kapoor.

"Sonam Kapoor is unbelievable when it comes to fashion. I can never do what she does. I can't carry half of the thing she does," she said.

Though the actress, who has been a regular showstopper for renowned designers, finds fashion runways "nerve-wracking."

"I don't feel excitement while walking on ramps. It's a nerve-wracking experience for me. I keep praying not to fall down on runways," Ileana said. Reported by Mid-Day 2 hours ago.
